OVERVIEW – Please Read Before Proceeding

The Pinnacle Internet Viewer aims to be an up-to-date report of students’ grades and attendance records. As grades can change from day to day, these may not be the same grades that will appear on the report card. Furthermore, the quarter grade displayed does not take into account exams given at the end of the marking period.

Contact the individual teachers if you have questions about particular grades or attendance reports. They are responsible for entering this information.

Absences: Pinnacle may report certain special attendance codes, such as SO (signed out), E1 (first day entry), and FT (field trip), as absences. Actually, a student will not be considered absent unless the code is AU (unexcused) or A (excused). It may take up to 3 days for an absence to be shown as excused.

Privacy: For privacy purposes, the student is not identified by name in the reports.

LOGGING IN

For “Student ID,” Enter the student’s 10-digit ID number, which can be found on his or her schedule and other records. If the ID ends with an “X,” include it.

For “Password,” enter the student’s birth date in YYYYMMDD format with no punctuation or spaces. For example, if the student was born on July 13, 1989, the date would be entered as 19890713.

For “School,” select Pompano Beach High.
