Special Event

This year, Leadership Broward Foundation is offering students an opportunity to participate in a new two-day program called “What If…?”.
Our goal through the What If…? program is to expose the student to real life creative thinking to solve complex social and environmental issues. We hope that students will walk away with a deeper understanding of how their own entrepreneurial drive, talent and skill can affect significant and permanent social change.
Students will learn how to build a business plan, develop leadership, communication, and problem solving skills and hear from local area change agents that have made a difference in our community. Students are also eligible for a minimum of 12 community service hours while they work on solving issues in Broward County.
This a weekend program open to all high school freshman through seniors regardless of academic accomplishments or extra-curricular activities.   To minimize time out of school, we have selected Friday, March 24th and Saturday, March 25th for programming. Nova Southeastern University is hosting this event for us on their campus in Davie. The cost to attend this two-day workshop is only $25 per student and includes lunch on both days. For more information please visit: https://www.leadershipbroward.org/portal/youth-entrepreneurship-program or contact me and I’ll be more than happy to answer any questions you might have.
What If…?
·         Everyone had a safe home
·         Rising sea levels no longer posed a problem
·         No one suffered through bullying
·         We lived in a world where we helped each other succeed
